About

At night when it’s quiet and most people are asleep I enjoy letting my dreams come to life in the form of video games.  A crucial part of developing great games is imagination.  It’s that ability for the human brain to take huge leaps in logic that separates the mundane from the extraordinary.  There’s no greater example of the human imagination than our dreams.  They can be so powerful at times that it’s hard to distinguish them from reality.

“The Still of the Night Causes a Storm in the Mind” is my all time excuse for late night game programming sessions.  When the imagination is most active I like to harness it to create something I can share. Of course sharing dreams in the form of interactive games is complicated and requires the knowledge of many disciplines.

When you’ve got a dream it’s like a life that you must nurture so it can grow into something great.  Programming, business, communication, lifestyle, and more come into play long before a finished game does.  “The Still of the Night Causes a Storm in the Mind” focuses on keeping precious dreams alive while navigating the real world.
